R2 Co-Op 'scaling' confirmation
Resistance 2 gives PS3 devs a blueprint for online play By Frank Caron | Published: November 10, 2008 - 08:22AM
The action also scales based on how many players are on the team and how the team is performing. Players have lots of incentive to perform well, as good performance rewards players with more experience points, which fuels a leveling system that gives players better abilities over time. It also earns more "Gray Tech," a currency that is used to purchase new equipment
The community-based features go beyond chatting, though. Players earn experience across the campaign, the competitive, and the co-operative play, all of which contribute to their overall status in the Resistance 2 community. Further character upgrades are unlocked as a player's overall experience level rises, and the entire system is integrated into the Resistance 2 website

There was some discussion bout this last nite during JLA 'Clan Nite' for R2.
I had heard co-op scales for the amount of players, hadn't known it scales for How those players were performing
- I was suspicious that Higher Ranking 'Drop in' players could be increasing difficulty.
I feel it's now confirmed as Higher Ranking players would perhaps contribute to increased 'performance' and therefore increase difficulty {and reward in the way of XP & Grey tech}.
All the more reason we need to get All the clan players with R2 online to complete Map areas ... And We will Rock in 'Skirmish' competitive if we can have two whole squads on the same team.

I guess we are that good LOL, there were only 3 (Lugoves, Kalel and me) of us to start that coop on Bryce Canyon map and still I'm sure it didn't scale back to the number of players. We do have a great strategy, if you're the only one alive just run and hide.
I agree on Skirmish, most of us just played that mode for the first time and we did good for first timers on that game. Also I apologize to the group on the first game we got into that Core Control game, I promise to limit my cussing or should I say I'll try my best to control it.

Reminds me of that song from Monty Python's QFTHG - "...Brave Sir Robin Ran Away..."
- Now I'll have that song stuck in my head while I'm looking for a hiding spot :-) As for your cussing ... a) Who cares? b) No one can hear you most of the time anyhow ---jk - But You are a little soft spoken.

yeah...so we are punished for ranking up...lol..no lu what you say makes sense...it would be pretty slick to have a skirmish and fill to squad slots..just not too sure how long it would take to find an open ranked game with a party...i am hopeful match making gets improved...
